The most important thing that any coach can introduce to a student is how to make the game more fun. Fun, of course, is defined differently by everyone. For some it is simply learning to make contact, for some it is reaching thier fullest potential as golfers, for competitive golfers it is honing those skills until they hold up under the crucible of competition. The coach's job is to uncover the ambition and dreams of the student, and to use the student's physical and mental ability to plan the best way to reach those goals. Within every person, their is a golf swing. It is the coach's job to find it, refine it and build upon it.
Career Highlights
A PGA Professional for 25 years and a Class A member of the PGA since 1990, Greg has extensive experience in all forms of golf instruction. As head professional at Carolina Golf Club in Charlotte for more than ten years, he led a rejuvenated junior golf program to two interclub finals and had four students go on to college scholarships. With thousands of private lessons and hundreds of clinics administered, teaching has always been his first passion in golf.
