How long have you been playing golf?
I've been playing golf for more than 50 years.
What are a few of your favorite local courses?
Some of my favorite courses include Magnolia Green Golf Club, Independence Golf Club and Salisbury Country Club.
Do you have a special moment or memory from a favorite course?
There are too many favorite golf memories to list, but I enjoy being out in nature with friends and family.
If you could play a round of golf anywhere, where would it be?
If I could play one course, it would be Augusta National.
Have you played competitive golf?
I played competitive golf at the University of North Carolina Pembroke and was a four-year letterman. After graduation, I turned professional and continue as a PGA Professional and general sales manager.
How do you share your passion for the game with others?
I share my passion for the game by offering tips and working with Wounded Warriors and the Salute Military Golf Association.
What is the best part about working at Golf Galaxy?
The best part about working at Golf Galaxy is helping my fellow golfers achieve their goals of playing better and allowing us to be their trusted advisor.

How did you get involved with the game of golf?
I was first introduced to golf when my family got me started in the game at 10 years old.
What accomplishments and/or milestones are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my strong work ethic and becoming president of the southern chapter of the MAPGA.
How would you describe your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy is focused on fundamentals, grip, posture, stance and what your body will let you do.
What are a few of your favorite local courses?
Some of my favorite courses include Independence Golf Club, Lake Chesdin Golf Club and the Dominion Club.
Do you have a special moment or memory from a favorite course?
My favorite memory from the course is getting a hole-in-one . twice!
